LITTLE BLACK DRESS FROM DIANE PARIS

Do you have a black dress in your wardrobe? if not, this is the moment to buy this "must have" garment that can be worn for many different occasions. If you already have one, it is always good idea to have more than one, as it is timeless and works great in any season.

As you know, this blog is also a platform to promote local designers who are creating interesting collections in the South African market. Today I am wearing this beautiful dress called Christina from french clothing label Diane Paris. Thanks to the modeling industry, I met Diana Tadjuideen, the creator of this brand 3 years ago. I have watched her growth and seen her make a mark in this country. Diana who is now based in SA, is Parisian born with family ties to Africa and Poland
Can you see that my pregnant belly is showing now? What I love about this dress is that I can wear it being pregnant or not, thanks to its elastic and very confortable fabric.
Diane is a ready to wear women's brand which is rooted in Parisian feminity, focused on providing effortlessly chic, individual and timeless pieces.
Diane pieces come from an intimate process which starts life in Paris, where luxury fabrics are carefully hand picked by Diana and provide the inspiration for future designs. In  Kalisz, Poland's oldest town and second home to Diana, she works with a select group of seamstress' to finalise the design and manufacturing process. Then she brings her collection from Europe to show it in her show room or pop up shops in South Africa.
WHY TO HAVE A BLACK DRESS:
  • Because it´s synonymous with elegance
  • It will make you feel amazing due its slimming qualities
  • It is timeless
  • You can wear it on different occasions without people noticing (if you accessorize it differently)
TIP:
A whole black outfit will be always classic, but if you want something different, wear the  black dress with heels and accessories in colours that create contrast such red, white, green, silver or gold ;)

Diane Paris will be opening her showroom at the end of this month.
It will be located at 63 Kent Road, Illovo.

The showroom is only by appointment so Diana can offer a private and exclusive experience for each of her clients.

  1. What a lovely dress - it has a bit of a 1920s vibe to it, but with a modern length. Love the shoes. Thanks for sharing!
