WHAT TO WEAR DURING DAYS OF MOODY WEATHER

Summer days are hot and cold and sometimes its kind of confusing to decide what to wear  during this moody weather!

Here is my option for today: Light fabric jacket with a vest under, shorts and high heels. I must do a clarification, this is not a corporate look. This is more a street style look.

 I am wearing:

Jacket: Legit
Vest: Woolworths
Shorts: Arkiteck
Shoes: Legit

Showing a bit of skin is always sexi, yet interesting. It doesn't have to be a deep cleavage. Do it subtly and look classy.

Shorts: Mr. Price
Shoes: Shoe a Holic

RIPPED JEANS AND TOP FROM NICCI BOUTIQUES

As weather is changing lately, it is time to start taking the jeans out of the wardrobe and wearing them!
Ripped jeans were popular in the late 1980s during the hard rock era as a sign of rebellion - not only in the lyrics of the music but also in the looks of singers and followers. Then it made its come back in the 90`s. During the grunge era, ripped jeans were worn by artists such as Kurt Cobain and fans of the latter movement. Fashion labels and designers took notice of the subcultures around them and payed close attention to what the younger generations were wearing. It was during this period that people made the transition from distressing their denim on their own, to purchasing distressed jeans denim in the stores.

I am wearing:

Top: Nicci Boutiques
Jeans: Nicci Boutiques
Heels: H&M
Shades: Lundun

CLARINS MOST DYNAMIC WOMAN AWARD

This week, I was invited to celebrate the Clarins Most Dynamic Woman Award. An award that recognises the commitment of exceptional women who devote themselves to change and improve the life of so many children who live in disadvantaged conditions. This was definitely a beautiful evening with beautiful and interesting people.
South African bloggers Duo Desk, always looking amazing
Pippa Lovemore, PR Co- Ordinator of Clarins South Africa
After enjoying the sunset, talking with the other guests and being spoilt with delicious treats, we were invited to the second floor to get to know more about Clarins group and finally discover who was the winner of the Most Dynamic Woman 2015.
Christian Courtin - Clarins, Chairman of Clarins Group, told us about how women have been always a source of inspiration for Clarins, and how this award started 18 years ago. It is now celebrated in more than 15 countries around the world. We also saw a video about the amazing things that Clarins is doing with the communities of Madagascar.
I had a chat with Christian at the end of this event, we talked about Colombia (my country),Cartagena and how much he likes it. It makes me feel very happy when people talk positively about my country... so thumbs up to him :)
She is Leigh Bristow, the winner of the night!
