Being a tourist in my own city is something that I have been doing for 11 years already! I am amazed at the amount of places that I discover every week in Johannesburg and I want to share them with you.
Yesterday, I had a blast! I wanted to go to an outdoor place where I can have fun with my 2 years old boy, where I can also relax and have quality time with him, where I don't feel suffocated as the weather is so hot at the moment and where I can enjoy nature... and I discovered this wonderful place called Gog Lifestyle Park.
Gog Lifestyle just opened 2 months ago, and for me it is now, the best place to enjoy summer with kids!
This is a park with lots of attractions such 600 mts Splash Pad Pool, Spray Park, Bmx Park, Abseiling Wall, Zip Linning, Outdoor Ride Tracks, Motorized Train for the kids, Outdoor Trampoline Area, among with other cool activities.
The pics say it all.
As I am 6 months pregnant and the weather was hot, we were playing in the swimming pool for 6 hours! like mermaids :) but time passed by so quick as we were having a wonderful time bonding. We missed Daddy a lot but we will come back with him next week.
The park also has a lovely beer garden, restaurants and picnic areas.
Gog Lifestyle Park is located very close to where the old Lion Park was, in Krugersdorp. It's open on Wednesday to Sunday from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.
The price per person is R150. Kids under 4 years old don't pay entrance fee.
Being woman is a privilege, but being able to create life and become a mom is by far one of the most beautiful pleasures!
This week I turned 25 weeks (6 Months) pregnant and I did a shoot for the maternity fashion label Lonzi and Bean. A lovely local brand, founded by two talented South Africans entrepreneurs: Ilona Wyle (Lonzi) and Claire Badenhorst (Bean).
Ilona and Claire couldn’t find flattering and confortable stuff when they were pregnant so they created this brand that fits all shapes and sizes. Their brand makes women feel confortable and beautiful during and after pregnancy.
Here are some pics of backstage.
We shot the first pictures at the studio with photographer Chanelle Jvr.
Then we moved to Le Chattelat, a stunning venue in the middle of Sandhurst.
I am feeling exhausted, time for a break hahaha :)
My baby daughter can say that she did her first photoshoot when she was still inside of mommie’s tummy.
What I love about this brand is that it doesn’t look like boring maternity wear. Their designs and patterns are modern and fun.

Such a lovely experience working with these ladies. Can’t wait for the final pictures of the catalogue that I will post then :)
