WALKING IN BERMEO

Bermeo was founded in 1236. It is the most important fishing town of the Basque Country with a long maritime tradition and an economy based on the fishing industry. Bermeo used to be the Provincial Capital between 1476 and 1602.I have a special bound with this town as it is my third home :) my husband is from here and we come to visit every Summer.

Bermeo fue fundado en 1236. Entre los años 1476 y 1602 fue la capital del Pais Basco. Con su larga tradición marítima y una economía basada en esta industria, Bermeo es el pueblo pesquero más importante de todo el Pais Vasco. Yo tengo una conexión especial con este lugar que ha venido siendo mi tercer hogar desde hace 10 años :)mi esposo nació y creció aquí y venimos a visitar todos los veranos.
