LOVE AFRICAN FASHION

MOOD: Celeste - Ezra Vine

"Every African – and non-African – should always have a piece of
Africa with them at all times, especially in their wardrobe" says Jimmy Umba, owner and creator of Bantu Wear.
Last week I went to Cape Town for 3 days to shoot a tv commercial for Middle East (I will talk about it in another post), during my free time, I decided to explore the city but my main objective was to find interesting things related to fashion.
I went to downtown and discovered a boutique called Bantu Wear. I  felt in love with this place and I was fascinated with all the colors, fabrics and textures that I found there. Bantu Wear is an african couture brand created in 2008. The owner, originally from Congo, envisioned a brand that could marry western and modern design with african print and fabrics.

Grazia Magazine also came and took some pictures of street style for their next issue.
